strange noise on cold

Hello to all , my gsxs1000 2015 10.000 km on it . it has horrible noise on cold engine , only in cold whether ( strange ) on few seconds . in summer , there is no noise even in cold whether . maybe someone has same problem , plaese help .

Denke ich auch. Hatte meine ganz kurz nach dem anlassen, nach längerer Standzeit.
Aber das Motorrad hat ja auch einen Sturzschaden rechts. Eventuell hat der Steuerketten Spanner was abbekommen.

mne was after incident too, i buy it from copart.com in damage condition, and after repair, in winter bike makes this noise only when eengine is cold, and only when outdoor temperature is low.

i disconnect tensioner , even try to push it i level + on tension , and everything was same . i think maybe it's chain ??? but only on 10.000 km ?? i don't think so ...

Warum nicht? Weißt du welche Kräfte während des Unfalles auf das Motorrad wirkten? Welches Bauteil in dem Moment so getroffen wurde, dass es die Kette beeinflusst bzw. gelängt hat? Der Spanner kann auch nur bis zu einem gewissen Punkt spannen, mehr geht nicht.

Ich hatte das Problem bei einem BMW, der neue Spanner brachte kurz Besserung, danach wieder das gleiche Spiel und die lauten Geräusche. Die Kette hatte einen Materialfehler, war gelängt und hat die Gleitschiene zusätzlich zerstört...das war nicht lustig.

Was für ein Öl (Viskosität? 10W/40?) hast du im Motor ?
Wie kalt ist es bei dem Geräusch?

i used 10w-40 motul 7100 , then changed on castrol power 10w-40 , noise is on both oils ( with oem suzuki oil filter ) . now in Georgia Republic is -1 celsius at morning when i'm going to work .

War denn der Motor selbst auch beschädigt?

Das verwendete Öl dürfte eigentlich nicht das Problem sein. Die Auswirkung von Kräften bei einem Unfall wirken sind schon manchmal kurios.... Nach einem Überfahren einer Verkehrsinsel (war eine Überraschung für den routinierten Autofahrer) machte anschließend der Scheibenwischer-Motor heftige Kratzgeräusche.....warum in Deinem Fall auch nicht ein Teil wie der Steuerkettenspanner?

no , engine was perfect , just little leak oil from right gasket , that's it , i change oil , recharge battery , and it's starts and run well .

want to know what's problem is exactly . don't want to waste time and money . at last winter one guy from service told about tensioner , just click into tensioner manual , if noise will gone that's tensioner .i did like he said , but nothing change . bike was standing in garage for 3 weeks , before i get tensioner gasket from ebay :/

War der Kettenspanner schon mal (bei dir) ausgebaut?
Wenn ja, ist der neu?
Wie lange dauert es bis das Geräusch weg ist?

not immediately, i purchase it at september, everything was fine untill december, when temperature was nearly same that now, on spring noise was gone, all spring, summer, autumn evething was fine, i was on track days also at summer, bike runs great. and on this winter like 1 year ago noise is come back.
in last winter, i didn't change tensioner, i push to tensioner link manual for next click, and something was same (same noise), then i order tensioner spring on new one, and nothing change again.
noise come from cold bike , in cold whether for few seconds 10-15 maybe , like something must warm up in engine . i try to start up and turn off several times ( think about oil pressure ) , and also try to start up with clutch lever , still nothing .

ialso remove tensioner , when change spring , inspect oil channels for some dirt , and visual damage - nothing . and see that tensioner is only for 5-6 clicks out . that means , that chain is good i think .

Das ein Steuerkettenspanner beim kalten Motor die ersten Sekunden nicht richtig arbeitet, tritt bei mehreren Motoren, zB GSX-R, Street Triple, auf. wenn das so bleibt, ist das auch nicht sehr schlimm.

Der Kollege hat auch noch ein anderes Problem :whistling2:
