I love GSR750 toooooo much!! so that to search "GSR750 swingarm" in all kinds of languages supported by google translate, than finally found the Germany
cool.png

So after cutting 2.5 mm on each side of the chassis, the chain will be right on the chain guide automatically? and the rear wheel will be centered too??
I am not sure it is hollow at the pivot of the swingarm. In Macau, it's really not easy to cut the chassis, because asking someone to cut the swingarm is already difficult...

Thanks and Cheers!!

So it was in that case.

A friend of mine had done it by using an angle grinder. The pivot of the chassis is not hollow, so it's easily possible to cut the material. Like I already said, the GSR600 aluminium swingarm is hollow inside, not the GSR750 Frame :)

Dear Bonecollector,
I am glad that you see this message! :)
It has been a long time(if you still remember a chinese guy asked you about the gsr600 swingarm modification to a gsr750), now I finally start to do this.
Looking for you reply, Thank you very much for you reading! :D
Best Regards,
laokinkin
I do remember and wish you good luck *g*

After taken off the original swingarm and rear wheel, here are few questions I would like to know from you

:
1. Should I buy an OEM GSR600 caliper bracket for the original GSR750 caliper and wheel? (GSR600 caliper bracket is part no. 10 in this website
Yap, you’re correct. You have to use the brake calliper from the GSR 600 + new brake pipe

laokinkin schrieb:
2. Is the original rear wheel axle still can be used on this modification? or an OEM GSR600 rear wheel axle is needed?
The 750 axle won’t fit the 600 clamps perfect, so I would recommend using the 600 axle:

3. Do I need to design a new multi-link suspension system? or should I keep the original multi-link suspension system by adding costumed spacers to it?
It is not possible to use the original connections by plug & play. So I’ve used longer screws and spacer bushings to solve the problem. And I would recommend to use a Jack-Up kit, to get more space between wheel and frame-under-fairing.

Thank you for your reply! :)

I have brought the caliper and the axle, and CNC a pair of spacers.

Now, a friend of mine (actually the technician) recommended me to cut the frame more than 2.5 mm for each side (let say 3.5 mm), then we could put an 1 mm spacer on each side, so that the swing arm will have a longer life. I would like to ask how do you think about it?

Thank you very much!

Nice! :D hopefully, we would finish it within August!

Another question, there is a hollow shaft in the middle of the gsr600 swingarm axial, originally, it will match with the GSR600 axle.
Now what we are going to use is the GSR750 axle which is finer than the GSR600 axle.
I would like to ask if I should CNC one more spacer to fix the hollow shaft not to move? or I can just leave it there and don't care about it?
Or I should find some way to take it out??

Thank you very much!:)
